Recognizing Aversion
As human beings, we have a natural tendency to push away things we do not want. However, when we do this automatically and habitually, we can end up adding internal struggle to our external problems. The first step in changing the way we relate to difficulties is to recognize our automatic patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving, to see if what we are doing is helping or hurting us.
