Awareness & Automatic Pilot
Many of us go through life on a sort of “automatic pilot,” barely aware of what is going on around us. While this can sometimes be useful, it can also leave us feeling that time, and indeed our lives, are always flying by. We can also get caught up in automatic pilot modes of thinking, emotionally reacting, and behaving that can get us in trouble, even if they are sometimes helpful.
Before developing new ways of working with stress and with difficulties, we have to exercise our attentional capacity.
For this session, you will need one raisin (or other small food item) as you follow along with the video.
